2018 Project 52, second quarter by Lindsay (CormacD)

Went on a sunset dinner cruise a couple of nights ago on the Katherine River, Nitmiluk National Park out of Katherine in the Northern Territory of Australia, beautiful trip. Here's a couple of samples.

Ha Ha thanks Bill, I did see a couple asleep on the shore.

Nicely composed, both look a bit soft but could be the low resolution.

Visited the Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory of Australia. The Park is nearly 20,000 square kilometres.
These couple of pics were taken on a sunrise breakfast cruise at Yellow Waters. The park has massive amounts of wet lands as there is plenty of rain in the wet season.

You were close enough to shoot at 18.5 mm ...

Yes Bill, over the side of the boat. I use the Nikon 1 compact system so the 30 mm lens is equivalent to about 80 mm in the traditional 35 mm standard.

I agree, the safest places to swim are in the lap pools down town.

Stayed at Kimberley Land Caravan Park in Kununurra, lovely spot on the lake.

Stayed at Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park on the North West Coast of Western Australia, lovely spot where a lot of people sty for months on end to fish and keep warm.

Stayed at the the Pardoo Station Camp Ground. Popular fishing location on the Pilbara Coast near Port Hedland in Western Australia. Big tides when we were there, full moon each night means big tides.

We camped at the Albert Tognolini Campground on the Great Northern Highway between Port Hedland and Newman in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. Beautiful spot and our camping neighbour played the bag pipes at sunset.

Dales Gorge in the Karrijini National Park in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia, we stayed there overnight and walked around the top of the gorge.

Back home after our 12000 km trip. Went for a local walk and here a a couple of shots I got in the last two days. Just shows me that there is always some good material near home.
