I thought is was a pigeon at first because I had seen one on a similar signpost the week before and they're about the same size.
I had the best part of 5 minutes between first shot and last, there are quite a few others, but I was, for a 300mm lens, still a bit far away; none are really sharp at 100%, not helped by it being a very windy day, so the plumage was blowiing all over the place :(

Getting down to their level will usually give a better perspective.
Not that bad stardust. How did you edit it? The colors don't look right, and a touch overexposed.
