I very much like the last four or five week's worth of photos, Judith, but I especially like the warm colours and texture of the witch hazel.

I love the concept of this one. I guess the water didn't settle down for you?

The wavy reflections are what makes the picture here. If it had been still, I would have disturbed the water surface!
You have a great eye.

I would have been curious to see what it would have been like sans reflections as well :)

Thanks John and Mal. I did wait around for a koi to swim into the reflection, later worked on putting one in during post, but it upset the visual balance. They used to have large koi but I guess the herons have been hungry!

Thanks, Nandakumar! This year I am focusing on seeing and capture rather than post processing. Glad to say this one needed very little

Thanks! it was hard to get an angle that got both the window and the reflection. Glad you thought this one worked!

I love the reflection, in fact I think it might have made an interesting image in its own right. I like this though. My only thought is that you could try cropping a little from the bottom so that the amount reflection showing equals the amount of window. Just a thought.

I would have no problem with it hanging on my wall.
With the smallest of problem (for me), is the busy BG behind the window.

Thanks for looking! It was fun to work to get the right angle for the water--had to accept the background or do a lot of masking!
