I think you have possibly been doing a little better up there than in the 'sunny south' lately, Donald. Very typical Bank Holiday weather here.

Raspberry Beetle. A small creature which can become a serious pest of fruit if it occurs in numbers.
And a couple of Ichneumon Wasps. Their larvae are parasites on various creatures particularly caterpillars.

Over here we have Black Fungus Gnats (Sciaridae) which look rather similar.

I asked. It might be a Yellow collared scape moth.

I never thought about a daylight flying moth.
That particular one is definitely something we don't get over here.
