I'm talking about shots which are neither she nor he.Phisical distances between us erase the genus(or gender of noun).Apropos one of my name is Dinu not Dino and derives from latin one:Constantinus(Constandinus).But now it is an independent name and not like Stephan and Steve.

Reminds me of a dog owned by one of my son's friends. I asked Dom what his dog's name was. Replied Dom, "Askim." So I did. I asked the dog what his name was. "Nice doggy. What's your name?" Then I asked again. And then I got it. And felt very foolish:)

Radu, I asked my daughter about Romania and the language and received a quick history lesson about retired Roman soldiers and farmland. Oh to be 18 and know a little bit about everything:)

I told You my opinion about a shot not about a creation like "Clothed Maja"or"Portrait of Joaquina" by Goya.I'm amused to see how many people talk about the genus using a language which has not a stressed opinion about the gendre of the nouns as German(or any Latin language)has.Here in Romania we say "the nervosity brings freckles".So... look out!

PS2 Nik You are very kind but don't spend too much time with my opinion and take images.

Very nice photograph from a snapshot. Shows what can be done with a little horsing around with post processing. I think of snapshots as quick shots to document a scene or event without a lot of thought about creating an artistic image. Most of us take snapshots when we want to document a family occasion, etc. However, the more serious we are about our photography, the more we think about framing, posing, lighting,etc. We take better snapshots and, on a good day, photographs.

Unfortunately, I like Colin's original photo better. The colour is more neutral and somehow it has a smooth, "high quality" look.

Hi,
I was impressed reading the Donald's story about the collision of two British liner in WW I I try to transform this image into evocative one.Cutting the Cross it transforms into infinite one as the distance between Sky(God) and ground.The mist has an evocative and misterious effect.To do that I used lasso tool , move tool and 15 min.

Hi,
Last night I saw this very strange Donald's image.I took it to improve a little with lasso,move, level and 30 min tools.First of all the story is in the air not on the ground so I cropped the ground.The second problem was that the left side pole stops the eye too see entire image so I moved it on the right flipping the image.The third problem is to"generalise" the story because we see that zig-zag every where so I cut the pole from the new left side of the image.

Triggerhappy posted a very interesting problem( shot).And calls for help(if I understood well).From my point of view the disorder of the cables is what I like.So I emphasize that with transform_skew.I move the colour to a warmer one because those are homes.

When I saw that group of interests from the shot of Geoff F I asked myself why the sky is necessarily in such kind of shot.So the answer was promptly,no it is not. For sheep the grass is interestingly.So I gave them more grass.

When I think in a language in which i is written with capital letter anywhere in a sentance is hard to understand why annie leibovitz,a she,is written SHE,ANNIE LEIBOVITZ in photography.2 oe 3 hours ago I tried to explain me why she is SHE showing to the onlookers 4 of HER shots.
Surprise,my threds were deleted.Now I try again without show You these shots calling You to see them on other site.
First was "davis" it is a woman soldier who is resting.We see her gun in a horizontal position.She is resting in a vertical(sitting) position(not in lying position) as trees from background, her colour is the same as the trees(but her dimensions are greater,so more powerful than trees) and on her face is the victory sign.This shot is presenting a personal vision of victory.A human victory,look at this tired victory it is wonderful.I think SHE is first who humanised the victory.
