Sorry about that... Yes he looks OK with an extra ear. If truth be told, I never really noticed he was missing one - I was too taken with his captivating expression as he was about to kiss me. Cint Eastwood and his habit is part of West European enjoyment.In my opinion,if You should try to catch the moment of kissing You should catch the both ears .
Here in East I enjoy myself helping You with the second ear.

I probably didn't notice the missing ear as I was too busy anticipating the kiss. An example of sex getting in the way of photography! I should have said before - your edit of the second ear is well done.

Looking for opinions,SteveS found me in a "creative disposition" so:
1.lasso on the water
2.transform skew to increase the importance of the river
3.filter distort liquify bloat and pucker tool to give a "curved shape" to the water(the river flows)
4.lasso on the water only
5.filter distort ocean riple to give to the water the image of the river
6.lasso on the sky and levels to give a "face"
7.lasso on the shadow area of the wood to open it on levels
45min with...writing

Hi,
Beautiful pictures...beautiful pictures...they always gave me rise questions.One of them is linked to the Earth shape.If the Earth is "round" why the horizon could not be curved.Below is a possible answer.(distort,liquify,bloat and pucker tool were used.Of course,it is not easy because You must combine different diameters and different pressures of the brushes,but the practice will give You satisfaction).Special thanks to SteveH and to Carregwen who took these outstanding pictures.

When we look at one of our past shot does it give us the same feeling as first time?For me the answer is not always.This question and this possible answer opens a never finised to explore road.A honest anaysis will tell us why we pushed the button and how we should have to do in the future.If the answer will be "just because" all could be ok.The problem is rising when the answer is another one because then we must process the image to share our feeling to the others.First time when I saw the RuiLopes' "Path...",the tough look of the landscape impresses me.So I tried to emphasise this feeling with lasso on the upper left an right and free transform.Then with liquify filter and pucker and bloat tools on the rocks I obtained what we see below.

Then I tried to increase what a walker sees through the sweat flow on a hard road without water under a summer day sun with ocean ripple and erase tool for a gradual effect.

Then I reminded this is a medieval road so full of misteries.So I took the left side of the sky and with lasso tool and move tool I coverd entire image.Then erase tool was gradually applied.

Hi,
This very well done photo-joke "menage a trois" reminded me that someones said,in the past, the colour of shadows(shade of the objects)in a picture would be complementaries.So I did that with lasso on the area of the shadow then clicking with the middle eyedropper from the levels on the object.Of course first of all I modified the "family's" colour to win in pictorial character.

Invasion of the green bins:eek: I don't think they pay £2000 council tax and bet their energy usage is very high considering boarded up windows hiding the plant farm and high power lights. :D

Round here if your seen taking pics and the kids can identify where you live you ain't gonna have a camera much longer, and anyway I think the landlord has ways of keeping squatters out. Empty properties tend to burn down here though. :D

To intensify the feeling which an abandoned place give us there are two methods:the change of the colouredspace with black and white one and the multiplication of the details.Auxiliary methods as contrast and sharpness bettering are well received.In His "Arrested Place" David did a very good job.
(I used lasso and move tool then erase tool,two times,then I transformed it in RAW file to enhance exposure and sharpness.)

No, the telelens effect cannot increase the unpleasent feeling which an abandoned place gives us.I tried with lasso and free transfom to obtain telephoto like effect.Nothing instead of characteristique details could emphasise such kind of feelings.

I got them,shooting against sun,to convince a friend of mine to use a specialized software for "impossible photos".
Now I try to capture the attention showing You the results we may obtain using "Generate HDR Image" and "Exposure Fusion" of the same Photomatix.

The initial shots and final images were not postprocessed.Both ways have many controls,we must use them.The commputer increased our selfexpression not the number of masterpieces per second.
Now I can erase them:D

Radu,

I tried a similar shot recently and noticed a pinpoint dots of digital noise near the sun flare on the overexposed images. Did you notice this in any of your shots? Mine were all shot in jpeg.
