Re: In conversation with ...... jiro
What a delight - reading all about you over lunch - so thankyou for sharing, I feel we've met for lunch in person!
And the comments everyone has made are great as well - I second the 'godd on you' for your balance of home/family/work that works for you.
I always remember the comment of 'what we do does not make us who we are' and encourage my kids in the same way....
no job makes anyone more or less of a person...
My Dear husband would be hopeless if we switched he would be too soft on the Fashionista for sure!
Thankyou again for sharing a bit of your story and fo always being so helpful with your post processing tips - I learn a little bit more every day - Thankyou :)

Thank you, Kay for your kind words. :)

Yeah, way to go, Jiro... you rate yourself a "5" and wreck the curve for the rest of us! Now I have to rate myself a 0.5 ;) Thanks for sharing; a great read in addition to all the help you provide in the threads.

Thanks, Al. OK, if I rate myself a "6", would go go and rate yourself a "5" then? :D :p Btw, the ,dng output of your 5D Mk II was really awesome! It took Lightroom on my system to wait for about 7 seconds before I was able to see the image. Talk about pixel density! If I got the money I would definitely buy myself a 5D and an 85mm 1.4 prime! :p

Thanks, Abner. I have Chinese blood, Sir that's why people usually mistaken me as Chinese. :p

If world would be simplistically divided to good and bad - jiro would be a good man. Very good one. In every respect. I like your story because it's truthful and so inspiring to other fellow human beings. Thx jiro ;-)

Thank you very much, Aloha. I like your idea - breaking everything down to its simplest form. Unfortunately, the everyday DUALITY of mundane things is what makes us puzzled about life. Useful, Useless; beautiful, ugly, in the end it really is just as IS. The mind is only the one that creates the concept about every thing. :D I may look like good man to you, but there are individuals who sees me as a 2-horned monster with a long sharp tail and a red skin putting out fire with my breath. :p In the end, all is just relative to the one who sees.
P.S. If given the choice to pick, of course I like to be called a good man. Cheers! :) :p
