I am impressed Neil, very quick off the mark. It's so difficult to get close enough at F1 isn't it. I like the second shot, with a narrow crop that could look quite cool.

Nice shot martyn. The crowd helps with the sense of speed, better than my shots anyway with a plain background. You could probably have pretended it was from today as the BTCC was at Donnington today wasn't it? Right on your doorstep?

I look forward to it. I have a visit to Cadwell Park planned in the next month or so which is a much better track than Silverstone for photos apparently.

Image quality is not as good as I would like, but these were taken last year before I had a dslr (I only had a Lumix TZ7 back then).

As it was at the Goodwood Revival, I thought it fitting to convert to B&W.

Both are really nice shots Glen and I think the B&W sets both off a treat. The Lumix did you proud I think.

I love the body roll on the first one, it adds so much more movement to shot. The way the sun is catching the spokes on the bike is really cool too.

Not up to the standard of the ones you started the thread with! But, I was quite happy with them considering the shutter lag and slow focus! I was almost developing psychic skills working out when to press the shutter...

I'l be back at Goodwood for this year's Revival so hopefully will get some decent shots with my new camera.

Fantastic shot Del773! If I had to search for a criticism it might be a slower shutter speed to grab just a touch of motion... not a lot, just a touch.

Lovely shot Derek

These are the type of shots that are easily missed or have too much blur if you have a low shutter speed set trying to get motion blur. I have missed several like this so you have done well to get it.

Thanks for posting here, I was starting to think there were no more petrol heads on here.
