Re: How do you deal with low detail?
Cheers Ashwin; I was trying to hide a lack of definition with shade but trying to not get it too dark. I think the previous photo turned me blind and I'm trying to get used to varifocals, I've had a couple of days.
I just plain got the exposure wrong and the boat I'm on is not really a tour boat but a river bus, and you don't get chance to examine histograms. But you learn something everyday, and I like that method and the last one and what if I use multiple bracketed shots 1 stop apart when on something moving. :) good idea eh.
Re: How do you deal with low detail?
Cheers Graham, I didn't have time to see the tower because I was on the last boat. But I don't like lifts either. :)
Re: How do you deal with low detail?
Cheers John, I have only got a tiny little window and I can hardly see anything. In fact my monitor is only 20" so I keep messing with the zoom up and down all the time.
Except in ACR where I use the histogram only, since it is really tiny. :)
