Results: April 2011 Competition

Congratulations Yan, Mike and Barney. Great shots. Yan those long night exposures are beautiful. Again as
Chris was saying we dont see these stars in Sydney either. I might have to move to the country where there
is no pollution. The definition on the macro fly is excellent. Ill just keep trying.

Hi David, and welcome to CiC.

This comp is now closed. But we have one a month and the May one is now open for entries by any member (including yourself!)

From the main forum page select 'monthly and other comps' and you will see the May comp near the top. Just submit your entry as detailed at the top of the thread.

Thanks for your comments. In Sydney area we don't see anything like this, though Milky Way indeed is clearly visible in Blue Mountains area. I guess in central Australia we should see this kind of sky.

congratulations to all 3 winners for fantastic pieces of art.their work challenges us and give us the desire to work hard
to be able to level with them.but the shot of Barney is an unbelievable close up however it frightens me so much.when i see it i cannot put my hand on the monitor.but it is a success! congratulation to all !
