Thanks for viewing, John. I looked at some examples of painted flowers in the internet. What I have noticed is that they don't show that much fine details in them. I think they are more concerned about the form and colors. I have 2 versions of this image, one wihout the painterly texture and one with it. I kind of like the one with the textures. Actually, that's my main reason why I tried to photograph these flowers - to see how they will look like with a painterly effect added to the original image. As always, looking at images is subjective. And I always respect other people's opinion about how they view or react regarding my work. Thank you very much for your comment and insight. :)
