Keeping the files is good because we can work on them later when we know more about the programs...
I see you have been looking for "older" pictures and working on them now you sure get better results...
This black and white is quite nice. :)

Kevin, Portugal is not a very old country: it was born as a nation on the XII th century.
You probably know - I am sure you do - that there are Portuguese people all over the World as British, Dutch and from other European countries.
But Portugal was a small country and achieved to have colonies in Africa and Asia for some time.
Brasil was from Portugal once ... A great country these days !
That's History, past. These days things are quite different...
My pictures are some from Portugal and some from places I have been to.
I am planning to publish a book on line soon. I will post here when I do so.
Thank you. :)

This is done with natural light today. How does the skin look? I think this is the best skin I have ever captured :) I think it is very close to his skin in real life.
I may have messed it up in post processing, it was actually pretty sharp, as usual I may have oversharpened it when I resized the picture. I then applied some blurring to the hair and around the eyes where it looked unnatural but not sure if it was enough of done right.
Colin, by blurring you mean Guassian blur, right?

Hello Alis. :)
I think the skin looks very well and the photo is indeed very good.
About the second one, I also like it. It was artificial light was it not ?
:)

Thanks, Antonio.
It was natural light. At the park, using the 70-200mm 2.8 zoom lens.

I am not sure but in 2006 the f/4.0 didn't exist. :)
My wife took this picture the day after I received the lens from Germany where the price was the lowest.
Look how the photo looks: bad treatment, car in the background, etc.
I learned something from there till now ...:)
Yes, it's me all right !:):)
