I produced this image as a tribute to an admired photo colleague who died recently. He excelled at flower photography. The flower here is a pink.

Stephanie is the lady of ceremonies for 2010 Canadian Investment Awards which was held in the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, Toronto on Dec. 1 2010.

She was pausing at half-opened door of the preparation room. I was there as a photographer to cover the event and was inspired by her beauty and setting. I took two snapshots. This is the better one. It was low light evironment and no flash was fired.

If you wish to invite comments on the image now, you should create a new thread in, say, the Nature & Architecture section of the forum and ask for comments. It is perfectly acceptable for your image to remain here in the competition AND for it to be in a thread inviting comment and criticism.
