Beautiful shot Binnur. I love the glow at the bottom of the tree. It adds tothe mood.
I am familiar with merging different exposures when faced with a high dynamic range in the shot. What is the rationals behind this technique in this case?
Hi Joe, I'm glad that you liked the image :) Because the sun was behind the high hills it was a backlit scene and the the hills were silhouettes. So, I had a second and longer exposure for better exposed hills and the tree. Then I merged the better exposed hills and the tree with the sky from the other exposure.
Gorgeous colour, Binnur. Lovely image, but I will be interested to see the crop.
Nothing to add or suggest, just so amazingly beautiful! I'd love to start experimenting more with long exposure... once I understand my camera better maybe. Love the colors, the sky, the tree, everything :)
Thank you Janis and Sharon , I'm glad that you like the image :)
Janis I have another shot of the same scene without the FG . I decided to edit it in B&W and I'm hoping to upload it soon. That's why I didn't crop this color one.
Well, Binnur, it looks a beautiful, bustling and colourful place to live. It looks very much like the area is thriving. Thanks for sharing! :)
Beautiful image Binnur. I do agree with comments about the foreground
Thank you Kim :) I was planning to edit the same scene without the FG in B&W as I already have a frame shot like that, but when I tried, the image didn't look nice without the FG in B&W. So , now I'm busy with editing another scene from the same shooting session in B&W. When I start another thread and upload it, I will also crop the FG in this color image and upload for your comparison as there won't be a B&W version. The crop actually looks nice in color although it didn't work nice in B&W. You will see it very soon :)
Simply beautiful, Binnur
Lovely image with subtle beauty...
Thank you Dean, Richard and Sandy :)
Here is the cropped version of the image. I was going to edit the same image shot without the FG ,in B&W. But it didn't look nice in B&W without the FG. So I decided to crop the color version as you suggested. Here it is for your comparison with the original. Sorry for being so late, when I decided to upload the cropped one , tinypic decided not to work :( Fortunatelly it works now :)
