Both images are excellent works; the first one became more poetic by that maple leaf...but i am greedy , if that leaf were just ripening with yellow and orange color...:rolleyes:

I appreciate your kind words. Those big leaf maples do turn very yellow and get giant mottled green spots. They are kind of strange. I'll post a pic sometime as they sucker me in every fall with their giant polka dots.

Well, actually I like them both, and I personally have no issue with the water treatment - and that is the joy of art is it not?
I actually like the cool tones of the image - having just suffered a 20 degree C drop in temperature upon my return to Canada, I can relate to the coolness of the image! :)

Thanks Trev, glad you enjoyed them and we're also doing the cool tones in my neck of the woods. Warm sunshine has to be around the corner!
