European Otter

My favourite is #1 -- as Sandy said, very regal looking. Snooty, aristocratic look. They are very expressive....All good shots and very sharp.

Is the European otter one that lives on land/rivers but not primarily at sea? Where I live, we have river otters but there are also sea otters, which live primarily at sea. The sea otters were exterminated in my area in the 1800's but are now making a come back.

Hi Bruce. These otters are river creatures and are found throughout Europe and into Asia. Sounds fairly common or garden but I've yet to catch them in the wild.
