Monochrome maybe?

Hi Pete,
No, I like it as it is; subtle and with a bit of colour. The WB is good for fluorescent lights, I like the composition to with the arm and cycle parts framing the shot on the bottom and right.
Hmmm, I'm running out of time and my daughter has just refused to be a model, despite having a new dress for her eighteenth birthday (a few days ago) and being in full 'war-piaint' as going out clubbing shortly :(
re: Day 01 - October 2010 PAD
This is just some quirkiness I found on a fence. I think a horizontal orientation would have been better, it would show more of the surroundings, highlighting the unusual placement of the pots.

What I learned today, koi are hard to photograph and don't like to pose.

But we did find somewhere with more room to move away from background and still have her in shade so that was good.
Gotta remember that hairbrush too!
So we will keep at it :) ....... 30 days hath....nah only kidding ;)
