Re: Lost Silver Efex Pro 2
That might always be a problem.

Look also at the chapter "uninstalling the original nik plugins".
If I do it this way, I also remove the directories if the uninstaller didn't. And run CCleaner to check/clean the registry.
And if you're curious, you can do a search in the registry and look for NIK COLLECTION. Don't make changes in the registry.

Re: Lost Silver Efex Pro 2
Dave (jl), on my main PC where I have installed the latest Nik Collection as an Adobe Elements plug-in, the Nik Selective Tool files can be found in this directory path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\Plug-Ins\Google\Selective Tool
As implied by Dave (edric), I agree, and I did suggest that you "properly uninstall" the old Nik software before installing any other version.
Cheers.

Hi Dave,
I ran the uninstaller and I think I've also deleted all files related to the Nik software that I could find in PS and PSE (under Nik and Google) and also had a look in all of the program files for both programs to see if the Selective Tool might have been lurking there! But I'll double check your suggestion.
There is probably something really simple causing my woes (but beyond my grasp).
Thanks,
Dave:)
