Mike, thanks again for getting back to me with advice I really do appreciate it. I use PS but post processing skills isn'n the best. I am getting there but it is slow. Thanks once again.
Maurice.
Re: Oil Painting By Light
PS has a dehaze tool but I've never used it. If it's as straightforward as Lightroom's dehaze tool (it probably is), it's very intuitive. You'll notice that if you have to apply a heavy dose of dehazing, the color cast becomes quite blue. Simply warm up that area afterward.

If you click right on the thumbnail and choose "property" you get tabs, the one called "detail" should give you shooting information ("property" and "detail" are translation of the French version of what I have on my Windows OS, may be not the same words in English version:mad:!)

Mike, thanks again for getting back. I will give dehaze a go. Again thanks for explaining now to use it.

Nice photo, Maurice. Others have already provided the useful editing comments. Lovely scene. But I thought everything was green in Ireland :D
Re: Oil Painting By Light
Absolutely peaceful and lovely image. I tried NIK Viveza at +15% and it seemed to add a bit of kick to the image...
Re: Oil Painting By Light
Beautiful colours a d reflections!
Re: Oil Painting By Light
Maurice ... Noting the responses from both you and Jean, thanks to both of you for your efforts to provide the settings information. From what I read you seem to be using Adobe Photoshop to do post processing? If so, perhaps you are using us Adobe Elements Organizer? In that case, the photo EXIF information (picture data) can be shown if the "Tags and Information" bar is shown via your Elements setup. I have tried to find information from pictures downloaded online into my Elements from time to time and have found most of the EXIF information does not transfer into my system, so I haven't tried this with you picture. No need to try further for me I at this time. Great shot ... regards ... Roger
