Dave, just love shots of Chloe
Yes that one's not bad, although I wish her hands weren't in her mouth ;)
What I never got lucky with was to capture the occasional reaction on her face to being hit by a shower of drips when one burst just above her head - that would have been good.
Thanks, Dave
Thanks Maurice,
Chloe is my P52 project (for years to come probably!), so there are links to all her previous published sessions, almost from her birth, in the 2016 P52 Index.
There is one set missing in the timeline between 6 and 7, perhaps I should process those too, it is an indoor session.
Thanks, Dave
Chloe is a beautiful baby Dave and you have captured that. My favorites are 9, 10, and 11 as I love the lighting, and I prefer the feathery grass behind her. I do understand the space you were working in was very tight; however, IMO, the dark brown fence in the early images somewhat detracts from Chloe, especially when the vertical post was close to her head.
Thanks for this Kim,
Yes, I noted that when I was shooting, but hoped that being in shade (and out of focus due to DoF of apertures in the f/2 - f/2.8 range), it wouldn't be too bad.
I probably could have moved myself a foot or two one way or the other, or even asked for Chloe to be moved a foot further over - something I'll pay more attention to if/when shooting there again (very likely).
Thanks, Dave
Great set Dave. You now have a job for life viz "official family portrait photographer".
Dave
Thanks Dave,
Possibly, although Chloe's mum's iPhone can occasionally get a really good one, when the lighting is right.
That said, Chloe herself often looks cute even in the 'technically challenged' shots - so it's more a case of; any camera that is there at the right moment wins out over a better one in a camera bag.
