Does this look like a good Photoshop computer???

Definitely would benefit from SSD as previously said.

I invested in a 750Gb SSD that I have used for four years. Wouldn't dream of going back to a pedestrian SATA drive. Your SSD in my view is far too small. I only use my 750Gb for basic functions and keep everything else on separate drives. It need not cost an arm and a leg but do think to the future and your likely requirements over the next five years. I am not ready for a new machine yet despite having run it for the last four years and it copes admirably with Photoshop etc.

Thanks for all your help everyone. I have settled on the Dell XPS 8900 with the following parameters:

Processor & Memory:
Intel® Core i7-6700K Processor 4.0GHz
32GB DDR4 2133MHz RAM

Drives:
2TB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive + 256GB Solid State Drive
Blu-ray Player (Reads BRD, Writes to DVD/CD)

Operating System:
Microsoft® Windows 10

I think that I am going to set it up with Photoshop CC, NIK software, and Perfect Photo Suite on the 256GB SSD and use the SATA for anything else, including storage. I am now working with Photoshop CS6 along with NIK and Perfect Photo.

I download pretty fast right now using my Lexar 3.0 card reader into a 2.0 port in my computer. I am sure that connecting that card reader to a 3.0 port will even make downloads a bit faster...
