Thank you Randy. The person who was in charge of the event said to me after going thru all the images -- "they really show what a great event it was"... which made me very proud and happy. Thank you for your comment.

For you Izzie, anything. I'll post a few more of "your favorite".

Here's a few more for Izzie... and whomever else enjoys them :-)
This team came in 2nd place in the overall competition.
#9 He had swimmies on as a joke for the water obstacle. He was a real character, yet a very dedicated handler.

Kim,
Thank you for the beautiful photographs. It's hard for me to pick a favorite.
Re: Canine Olympics (more for pleasure than C&C)
It's interesting that you initially chose not to display image #9, as that one is my favorite by far. It shows drama, action, energy and obvious engagement by both the dog and handler.

What a nice comment - thank you Paul.

It's one of my favorites as well Mike; however, I didn't think members would enjoy that one, with the exception of Izzie ;-) I guess I was wrong.

Kim, these are really nice photos. You did a fantastic job in a hostile environment-weather wise.

All so beautiful...full of action and fun. I love all of them...it is nice to have fun sometimes -- the dog loves fun too...I have to go back again and again to this posts as I can not get enough of the actions. Love them all. Does this unit knows you are posting their shots here? Just curious...
Re: Canine Olympics (more for pleasure than C&C)
Managing an occasional catch up at the moment Kim but I'm glad I didn't miss these. Wonderful record of what looks to have been a great day. Apart from handling the harsh light, you've managed to include a dynamic element in just about all of them, whether it's movement or sheer anticipation. Not a static shot amongst them. Lovely stuff
Re: Canine Olympics (more for pleasure than C&C)
My wife is very active in dog sports. She just informed me that a K9 competition is being held here in October. Can't wait.
Re: Canine Olympics (more for pleasure than C&C)
Thank you Mark and Bruce :-) Hostile it was Bruce.

Thanks Izzie. As long as people are not identified they are ok with posting.

Re: Canine Olympics (more for pleasure than C&C)
Thanks John. One thing I forgot to mention was... I had to get past ALL the people in the audience with HUGE lens and gear hanging everywhere. I actually had to remove them from my brain and just go after the shots I was looking for, and knew I could get. Glad you enjoyed them.
