I agree with Mike and i would keep the foreground - I am sure there is a technical reason for this view but I'm not expert enough to know it. But IMO, the foreground 'space' adds to the image, especially as you have no room around the building

Nothing technical perhaps industrial :), what caught my eye was the skies and the other elements just seemed to contrast so well with the changing colors.

I'm no great shakes when it comes to cropping, but I think the uneven, dark gravel provides an excellent contrast to the clean lines of the earthmover and the chrome and glass of the building.

OTH, the torn up foreground shows the high amount of heavy equipment movement on the site, ostensibly preparing the site for a new building. In a way, there's movement in the torn up surface.

A good shot, especially for hand holding over one's head to get above the chain link. The City of Niagara Falls is undergoing a building boom, and this image is representative of that activity.

Nice scene, John. The PP, although a bit too much for some colleagues, is nice IMHO.

Just check the level. It looks, to me, it would benefit from roughly a 0,5 degree counter clockwise correction.
