Yep, just what I was thinking.
Room for two more here I reckon, any takers?

Thanks for your 'hello's'.
This pic is not 'just now' but one that I took earlier this year ... before I got 'confined to barracks!'

Well done, Wendy.
You've got big hitters appearing all over the place at the moment.
Thanks Donald, and well done on your part too, I thought for sure you would go ahead and I was pretty worried about some of the others too for that matter.
Most of my good shots that you are seeing now are from the same day - go figure - what are the odds I'll have another morning like that.
Thanks for the votes everyone. It's very encouraging :)
Wendy
Well done, Wendy. Your photography seems to be improving. Just hope you can afford our bill
Congratulations Wendy. A runaway winner. The voting does not surprise me at all. It is one of those images that you know is right the minute you set eyes on it. The only problem is you will have to keep this up now. No pressure then.
Steve
Thanks Rob - I doubt I could afford the help and advice everyone here providesQuote:

Thanks Steve, I like to think my photography has improved, but in this case I think I was lucky to be at the right place at the right time with the right conditions. I don't think I could have screwed it up if I tried. It's just a nice scene and the fog helped things along.Quote:

Keep this up? That will be a tough order and I'm not good under pressure :(
Thanks again
Wendy
WRONG! Luck had nothing to do with it. You got yourself there. You saw the opportunities and made sure you were in the right place at the right time.
Oh yes you could. And you didn't. Ergo - you are a photographer.Quote:

Thanks Donald: Getting there really is half the battle. I will admit that I am getting better at knowing when it's going to be a good day or not, and I'm starting to find some favourite spots and have some ideas when would be the best time to go and when not to bother. That's come from a year of wandering around shooting anything and everything whenever I had the time as opposed to when the conditions might be more conducive to a better photo.
The wandering around part is my stress relief, and I'll keep doing it, but there are certain areas I want to get back to at the right time, so that is a step forward for me in the area of planning and visualizing.
Thanks again
Wendy
