The little boy looks absolutely unimpressed although the older boy in the background appears a bit more...startled?
Working on also the same idea/opinion as Nandakumar, I did some sort of event shots yesterday morning at the high school nearby, just photographing expressions and such at a political event, my first political event btw. I still have to load them in my computer this morning as soon as I wake up though...I think I am beginning to think. I may not have been able to pick up some good shots or I may have lots I do not know, I just knew I enjoyed doing so. Now I know what "being rigged" means and still cannot understand why we walked out of that meeting...:(

Yes. I did not like the busi-ness of the scene so I convert it to B/W and towards the end, played with the vignettes there. I looked and looked at this image and thought I like the gritty look, I just thought it looks nicer. And yes, one of my favourites. I think it starts with a sharp shot anyway and it is easier to add contrast so yesterday I tried to get sharper images of expressions just in case I need to convert to mono. I am beginning to think...even though it hurts at times.:p
Thank you again, Binnur, for being here for me whenever I post something. Appreciate it.

I have more than more but life gets in the way at times like yesterday, we were out at my first political event then some odds and ends before we got home it was nearly dinnertime and I had not cooked the rice. It was my greatest sin for the day -- no rice for dinner. My crew here are rice-trained for dinner.. :D
Anyway, I will try to edit some more today and also shoot my mushrooms. Thanks for passing by. I appreciate your comments and sharing your preferences.

All good Izzie, though One doesn't do much for me.(just me) I like best. 3,6,8,9 best. keep up the good work.
Re: Street photography, et al...for C&C please..
I enjoyed viewing your series! It is a mini-documentary with your delightful explanations included!
I'm not too familiar with double decker buses but did you take these through the window's glass or was the shot taken without obstruction? They are sharp!
Re: Street photography, et al...for C&C please..
Nice set Izzie, my favourites are #3 and #4 :)
Re: Street photography, et al...for C&C please..
Thank you very much for the added comments, Griddi...rice is staple in this household. It took a while to train Bill to eat rice but one time my DIL was telling us about her grandmother who lived to be over a hundred and Bill asked what she eats to have lived a long life -- she said rice noodles. He did not hear the 'noodles' bit but heard the rice and soon enough he has a big bowl of it each night and misses it when I forget to cook a fresh one each night...er...Bill is still alive so it must be working...:D Griddi, have you tried the free rides around the city yet? Do they have them there in SA?
Thanks Mark...nice to know your preferences and enjoyment of my shots.
Sandy, it looks like the double decker bus from England but all those that I have seen here have roof covers. And no, I did not shoot through glass either. I think the downstairs one have glass.
Thanks Matt -- I am glad you like some of them...
I appreciate everyone who commented for their comments and the critiques. It is always nice to have them for the sake of learning this art. Thank you.
