I had in mind a crop so that the left hand rope goes in to the top left corner.
The only downside is that we'd lose the 'sweeping up' brush on the ground.
For me also, #2 is a 'no-no'; I am no fan of headless barber's - they might do the same to me
Cheers, Dave
Thanks Dave for your valuable input. I have some more shots too. Let me check the close up one also. I will share some more shots of this place by evening. It is fine ?

I think you need to include the barber to give a complete picture to your commentary.
Although I typically steer clear of the "bulls eye" placement of the subject, it can certainly work with a portrait, and that is basically what you have here.
I'd recommend a 1:1 crop to see what you think. I don't think you'll miss the extra "information" on the left.
Thanks Kevin for your input. Yes, 1X1 crop also can work here. I have a little close up shot, which is here.

Thanks Martin for your valuable suggestion.

thanks Judith !! I will try to post the revised one very soon. :)

Great shot Tejal. The image brings back some wonderful memories of India for me. I got a haircut in Varanasi in a somewhat similar setting. The latest crop is stronger than the first two, but I wonder if you might need to give the barber a bit more headroom.
The barber's dark hair blends in with the writing on the background and the black on the background cuts the edge of the frame. Moving up the point of where you do the cut to include a bit of blue might give you a stronger edge to the image. It will also give the barber a tiny bit more headroom; I find things a touch cramped in that part of the image.

Missed this one Tejal. Your final image is the stand out for me. A bit of tweaking a la Manfred is definitely on but the way you have it now, emphasises the reflection in the mirror and the barbers expression, both of which make this for me.
