Wonderful photos.
Thanks Martin!

These a great. I wish they were easier to approach. I've yet to have a "keeper".

Thanks Irene! They are like most raptors and very apprehensive around people. Be patient it will happen.

Thank you so much Joe!

Hey, Barbara. I love osprey. The first shot is awesome. Great angle that shows off the interesting back feathers and nice techs. Next I like the drying out shot. The last one is great position on the bird and nice techs though not a great angle. Overall a nice set.

Expertly done, one and all. One of my favorite birds and I've never gotten a single exposure worth sharing.
Re: Osprey, Osprey and more Osprey
Nice series! As someone who shoots Osprey all the time I can only tell you that getting the 'fish' shot is not easy. Usually hanging around a nest will get you some opportunities when the parents bring back food for the youngsters.

Thank you Tom! I made it a mission to get a good shot and have had a couple of willing models, which always helps.

Thank you Monte! I don't know that I have ever seen a nest. I will definitely be on the look out for it the next time I find an osprey.
