Re: Gumamela (Hibiscus) shot for C&C...
Hi Izzie,
Work... Life is all about how you handle Plan B. It's the true test of character... (not my quote)
That said I'm still working very hard on Plan A (Photography) every chance I get.
I hope you're going to fix that spot... It's a lovely image and worthy of the extra attention.:)

Beautifully captured. Lovely detail. Now how about going out there in
the morning with a water bottle and giving it a spritz? :)
By the way, what lens were you using?
Irene

No, I am not going to edit that one anymore. I have done with it...I have the black and white point good already so I don't want to waste anymore of my time with it...I have other things to do and fun places to go to with Bill's flying club stuffs...our next flight will be somewhere just for our wings members and us to have breakfast and lunch and some shopping and chats then back home. I need to look into that and it takes planning. I am cramp for time at the moment...thanks for the view and the extra comment.

Thanks and no thanks, Irene...heat and Izzie doesn't work together very well at all...I hose my deck once or twice a day for the dogs to be able to go to the back to tame the heat there...we have rain this morning, thank goodness...but I really do not want to go out in the sun. Thank your for looking and commenting and the suggestion looks good to implement but as Grahame already like the result, there is no way I am going to upset that apple cart. I feel good about it already...I promised him one more flower shot, I don't even know when it is going to happen ... yet. :o
'Appreciate your comments and feedback.

Love the second one.. Well captured.
Re: Gumamela (Hibiscus) shot for C&C...
Izzie I like both but I especially liked #2 I am of the old school of either 1 or 3 but never 2 unless it's an identical pair. Studied that in design and now it is embedded in my brain. There are of course exceptions to the rule but for the most part it is a good one to follow. I admire your flower work. I find them really difficult and avoid them these days. Lucky for me with the near 100 degree temps here, that's not hard to do.

Thanks Stef...not really a flower shooter and I am glad that with Grahame's advice, I am able to hone it down to somewhat good enough to sometimes perfect if I am not so hardheaded... not to mention John (2) and Geoff. Thank you for commenting and stating your preference...appreciate it very much.

As I told you before, when I decided to choose a genre, I intend to get good at it before I moved on...I think I've done with birds for a while, so I am leaving you those beautiful birds until by some incidence or event I came to find one I will not be lazy to shoot at. Florida is still on the plans so birdie shoots and astrophotography will have to wait...I promised Grahame, just one more flower shot, but not too soon...when has time to castigate my poor shots, I might. I try to avoid high temps too....we had some last week and this week, and I stayed indoors doing other things. We will have today and tomorrow dry but better so I promised David (the Scottish pretending to be a Turk) I will do a bug shot for him today...after tomorrow, rain will be prominent until Sunday when it is going to heat up again...we have weird weather this year so far. I hate going out if it is not necessary really..
Thank you for your comment. I really appreciate it very much...
