I like the first one very much; in the second i would prefer a vertical frame , avoiding details on either side, but including corner overhead :)

Thanks Izzie. Yep, there's something special about the country and farm life. :) Wouldn't trade my growing up years for anything! :)

Thanks Nandakumar. I think I have the second one in a vertical frame as well... I'll post it a little later when I have time to edit it first.
