You certainly make the most of your travel time! Yes, the world is large, but my pocketbook is small:) It's very nice to see the world through these photographs.

Oh definitely! My travels are restricted to automobiles, though, and not planes. However, that said, we can take a ferry to Prince Edward Island for a day trip and travel to New Brunswick in a day, too. We've got beaches, woods, small cities, farms...I live in a smallish town, but yesterday I drove to the city (Halifax)with my daughter to take photos along the waterfront, and on Sunday my husband and I took a drive along the south shore, which is where my Lunenburg and other reflections photo came from.
Realistically, I know that foreign travel is a very unlikely event in our family, but that is 100% OK with me. I would like to take a trip across Canada at some point in the next ten years. That would be truly amazing!
The international representation on CinC is such a bonus. Not only do we see other parts of our Earth, but they are presented so beautifully.
After all this rambling, I should post a photo! From yesterday in the city:
I noticed our reflection as we walked down an alley

and thought it would make a fun photo of the two of us:)

Myra,
That's exactly what I am talking about. The ferry ride to the other side of the canal, especially at sunset. There are endless possiblities to see another world that you would normally overlook or take for granted. Yes foreign travel is enlightening, but I have discovered so much within the U.S. lately that I would not have considered as possible shootiing opportunities. What you might see in your area as ordinary, visitors to your area see as wonderous. Keep posting what you see everyday so we can have the desire to visit your hometown.
Nice colours, Steve.
Antonio, that monument looks so much like some Indian temple. Architecture is pretty similar. Here is my contribution to this thread.
