Actually it did not rain...her and the door was washed down with the hose then she was put in the bath kicking and screaming...:D She did not get away with the kicking and screaming either. She was asked to say I am sorry for screaming...so she was given another bubble bottle to keep her occupied in her little bath outdoor bath tub...

Thanks Geoff, Binnur and Matt --- she is not really actually looking up at the sky, she was asking for some more colours from her Papa and was explaining why she need more colour added to her bottle. Binnur I was shooting continuously and must have got about 143 of those different expressions from her...it was fun...she has some fake smiles and forced smiles and smile smiles when she looks at my camera...it was the first time she did this kind of play...
Thank you for looking and commenting...do appreciate it very much...

If her parents won't I will...I am just waiting for the CISS archival ink system for my Epson printer to be delivered so I can print a million of them shots that I like....
It flattered me that you would say that...thank you for your comment and recommendation.

Thanks Mike...and also for your other comment. I think I will keep it as is...I had already made several zooming and analyzing how I should crop it and I am happy with this one...
Thanks for your comment...

Izzie, a wonderful shot of that adorable baby! I love the color and also the use of the vignette to highlight that precious face!

Dave...she is my only grandchild (for now...) We are requesting for a brother...:D
Christina, her mother is beautiful too, in and out. We are lucky to have her in our family.
Thank you all for looking and commenting..

Let me turn the question back to you, as you've already done a square(ish) crop on the shot. What is the shot about. Does the space above the girl buy you anything, or would getting closer end up doing more for you (that might be your strategy if it is all about the child).
If it is about the child in the environment, you might leave things as they are. If it were my shot, I'd be tempted to crop off the top 20% or so, as I don't think it buys you anything compositionally (just above the word (Anik(a)).
I have been editing and cropping all day today and yesterday, Manfred...I have more closeups than this one and more other expressions of her so I thought with this one, I would leave it the way this one is as it has already been zoomed and cropped...the FF camera really did justice to my shots this time around compared to last year when I just don't want to take any photos at all...
Thank you for the lessons you have given in the past about lights and portraiture. I am still weak with flash and continuous lights but I think I am gaining more on natural lights watching where it is coming from...
Thank you for looking and commenting. I really do appreciate it very much...

Izzie - Very nice capture...I am sure this one is the best of the 143. You can see a story there in that photo. I like it.
Re: Please...please...don't rain....C&C please...
Barbara....Sorry I did not see your post before I logged off...I use James Edwards Photoshop action sharpening technique here with the noise level option. Then I made an extra layer on top, filled it with White from Edit (Shift + F5), then select Lens Correction (Shift+ Ctrl+ R) from the Filter menu and adjust the amount of Vignette and the centre point). You can also adjust the vertical and horizon orientation of the vignette.
Also a big appreciative thanks to Erik, Benjy Irene and Rita....You guys rocks!!!
