Donald, I had not even noticed it until now, thanks I will look into seeing if my PP skills are up to that.
I had to laugh when you said penguin, as my husband is always confusing pelican and penguin. I soon realized you were referring to the Laughing Gull (yes it's true name and they are VERY annoying!) They are standing on a white roof. I am in the South Texas and we see neither ice nor penguins, unless in the freezer or at the zoo or aquarium.:)

My goodness. How embarrassing. I never looked at the feet. I really thought that was a penguin and that it was probably taken in a zoo. But now that you point it out, it's very obvious that it's not.
I shall go and stand in the corner of the room for the rest of the day!

Thanks Raymond! They all are very much show offs!
Re: A Formal Introduction
It seems like the more pictures of these colorful birds that you take, the better you get at capturing them. I, too, am green with envy with your skills. However, I really look forward to you posting more of them.

Thanks Donna! I am glad you like them! I am hesitant to post too many of them out of fear that people will tire of them. I love to share them (the bird) they are such fascinating creatures and such personalities.
