Wow! What a difference a year and a half make! That is such an improvement in such a short space of time. And kudos to you for asking for and taking guidance so well.
And agreeing with those praising the forum. I have only recently joined and am finding it a real inspiration.
Keep going. Who knows what you will produce in another year and a half.

I agree with your assessment of CIC. It is a great place to learn and interact with people who want to help you get better. That is the reason I joined. Keep posting more insects, Brian. You really learned how to get those detailed shots!

A quantum leap in just 1 1/2 years. I wish my learning curve would be that sky-rocketing :)

The great gift of being teachable and humbling oneself has many rewards as proof in you . The hopefully , your mentor also hopefully gained from this too. Progress is a process that does require work. So , keep up the great work.

Brian, old adage - you can lead a horse to water, but the horse has to drink to make it worth it - your ability to embrace the feedback and learn from it is the key, and is clearly evident :)
but as noted its a two way process and each party benefits if carried out well

one of the few orders Buddha gave to his followers was to test everything he said with as much thoroughness as a goldsmith tests gold. I try to follow that order in all of my life. :)
