Thanks Greg, coming from you, I am tickled pink at your comment. Thank you for looking and commenting.
Nick, the operative phrase should include -- most of the time. :p

Very nice Izzie, although I think you could have improved the composition if you had got out onto the wing!:D Have a great holiday pal:cool:
Yeah...yeah...David but I do not belong to those daring people who can do that...It is too windy out there. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks Matt for looking and commenting. Believe me that wasn't in the original shot. I do not know how many crops I have done to make it so.
Thanks John...was sort of lucky I had my camera with me by my foot instead of the overhead storage where the rest of my equipment was.
Thank you everyone for looking and commenting. I truly appreciate the feedback coming from all of you who have mastered photography. I am learning a lot from you. And yes, I will enjoy this trip even without the hubby. I still have to get rid of my jetlag lag. My head wanted to comment on some post here but I end up sleeping instead. I will catch up on other post when I am fully awake...again.
Re: Oh No! not another sunrise shot...
Well done Izzie..Belter..:)
Re: Oh No! not another sunrise shot...
Great, Izzie - and have a wonderful trip... My issue with my sunrises is "veracity" or perhaps "fidelity" if you will. I am always wondering if the colors I have on my screen, later, are the ones I thought I saw when I made the shot. I guess it is fine to re-create what it felt like when you saw them, but this issue niggles at me nonetheless.
Re: Oh No! not another sunrise shot...
Izzie, you have captured some really beautiful colours in this one.

Thanks Benjy, Rita and Mark for looking and commenting. I really do appreciate it very much that you like my image this time around.
Mark...I did several shots of this from maybe around the 10-minute mark it sort of changed to lighter colour to remind how it really looked and also even during when the airplane wing banked and cannot see anymore of the view...and then I was off again shooting as soon as the wing showed me more views. I configured the camera to shoot on continuous mode too and then got the best I can out of the colours for reference before I did any editing as per Grahame's tips and kept on the histogram instead of the highlight clippings. It is more helpful to have been able to use the histogram to get the real colour as I saw it. Have faith in yourself, your mind and your eyes. Sometimes it is really hard to remember after the fact but once you got it, you will never forget...My only other sun shot was in a phone, so this is only my first sunrise and the phone one was the sunset one.

Thanks Irene...it has been cloudy since I arrived and today is the first time I have really seen the sunshine. I hope we get more. 'Appreciate your looking and commenting.
Re: Oh No! not another sunrise shot...
Somehow I missed this till now, Izzie. I've seen too many sunrises through airplane windows. But this is a lovely one and I'm sure was very much so in person. Enjoy your visit down under. There's no place quite like home. I hope you get a spiritual lift from the visit.

Thanks Dan...right now, no matter how good the weather is here, I would gladly exchange being with Bill than any good weather in the whole wide world. I am homesick already...
Thank you for looking and commenting. I appreciate it very much.

Thank you, Benjy, we had our family reunion last Wednesday which was really the big New Year's Eve. Tomorrow we will just go on two Steamboat parties for visiting friends time. I can just imagine the humming drums in my ear when they all speak Chinese at the same time:D . I can only read characters but not speak it so I might as well take photographs.:p
Re: Oh No! not another sunrise shot...

You must have a big family...where everyone dunks what they wanted to eat in the soupy affair...I tend to cook my own for us once a month in the US...
Re: Oh No! not another sunrise shot...
Izzie,Steamboat here=Wide eyed and legless=drunk....:):)
Re: Oh No! not another sunrise shot...
And I thought all along we are talking about food and meal serves! :D Thanks for the info...
Re: Oh No! not another sunrise shot...
My first reply, I can't imagine a photographer with a camera not taking that shot. Sunrise/sunset shots or colorful birds and autumn landscapes they are always open season! Good shot and story!
