Fuji FinePix S6500 (6MP with 28-300mm equiv. lens): 1/9s, f/2.9 at 6.8mm (= 30mm FFE) iso800 plus some PP to blur the background, necessary because of the inherent wide DoF of this small sensor camera - I bought a DSLR within the next 2 months!

Im keeping with Dave's request for a bicycle, here is a bicycle lane in the city of Melbourne...man o man! we should have this kind of lane here in Missouri so my husband will stop complaining about bicycle riders not paying for their dues to use the streets...:o and oh! this comes with Melbourne style cars in the street too as a bonus!!! :p

Coming on this thread late in the piece and searching for some of the shots which earlier ones suggested to me I found this bit of madness on my part to waste time shooting it :)

I never saw what I see now that in storage the image has been turned on its side ... a message there perhaps?

Trevor ....As an ex-boatie , whose craft lived in the water, I am intrigued by #25 as a way to save on anti-fouling [pollution] and weed growth :)

I can see two eyes at the top, one opened and the other one shut and a big mouth...I love this one! Too many to look at and investigate despite the simpleness...

California Redwood in Armstrong Redwoods SP. I just loved the look of that tree.

Bog wood, thousands of years old, emerging from Lindow Moss in Cheshire England. I think it looks a bit spooky :)

Dave...spooky all right...look at the hand -- must the one that rock the cradle. The hair (?) hid the face very well on that pose at the lower LHS! Good backdrop for halloween!
Wow! That was some big rock, George!
Tony...Uluru images will always be beautiful and you had exceeded expectations here.
Re: The previous image reminds me of one of mine
Thanks, Izzie. Just for fun, I once entered it into a photo competition with the theme "patterns in nature". The judge began "the photographer has arranged this so that it looks old........." I wanted to shout "that's because it is old, you twerp" and. "I didn't arrange anything, this is NATURE" but unfortunately such behaviour is considered unseemly
