Had a great but expensive trip home:p cost a fortune these grandchildren:D worth every penny though, and the great thing is when they start crying you just hand them back!:D

Thanks John, appreciated mate, yes they are fascinating critters, so fast and agile in the air. I have seen them taking prey like this but never been able to capture it:( in fact by the time I have managed to get close enough they usually have most of it eaten:eek: I think BIF would come a close second to that:D

welcome back sir, as expected superb photos, cant add a lot to what everyone else says, has to be one of my favourite insects - always reminds me of attack helicopters - same sort of look to them and how they move I guess.
