Problem... need advice

The last version you posted shows no anomalies IMO. I'd chalk it up to the shadow protection. Something about this particular image that manifested that way. You can resolve it by using a mask or using the brush tool in LR and applying the shadow lightening only to the bird. Sometimes when I see similar anomalies I use the selection brush and up the exposure rather than lighten shadows or a combination of the two with neither heavily applied.

There were some nice ones in that set. I will process a few with all the suggestions here in mind and post.
