Not sure what made me do it - but "old time look" just came to mind with that one.
Actually, it was quite fun adding noise - mucking up contrast - etc on an image for a change!

Indeed a truly lovely image in a wonderful part of the world.. I may move my folks up there, so I have an excuse to visit.... as I couldn't just come to Nelson/Marlborough & not Rangiora!

I always feel a bit guilty when people say that; it may look OK in the photo - but the other 99.9% of the time it's mud or crappy seawater. You'd have to time it right :)

Hi Colin :) #2 is very nice too, but I don't think one is better than the other , for me they are two nice images which differ from each other.

Thank you - I feel the same way about them. The 2nd one is hanging on my wall at home (a rare honour!).
