Scanner - The cheapish epson I bought, V70 I think was poor for film scanning. The Canon 8400F (bought for £30 new but on shelf) excellent film and slide scanning, as good as a dedicated film scanner and very quick
RO9 is a Rodinal formulation (RO=ROdinal) IMHO the film was completely fogged before development. I would load another unused/unexposed film and process it in the same way and see if the same thing happens.
Are you sure that you diluted the developer concentrate correctly at 25:1 or 50:1 and not 2.5:1 or 5.0:1?
Hi Graham,
I can't be 100% sure I mixed correct but think I must have been very close.
I'm going to load another roll into this camera and tape up the door and see if that's any better then if so look at replacing the seal.
I saw an Epson v300 used for 35 euros so might make an offer.
It's just around the corner so easy to collect.
I saw some reviews saying the scanner is ok but can be a little slow and the colours are not so great but can be easily fixed in Lightroom.
Regards,
Gary
