I can't help. Mike...mainly because you saw what I didn't...yours is much better. I looked at the texture of the water in #1 and prefer it much better than the longer exposure of the others.

David, if you want to see more about the falls just google "Bridal Veil Falls".
Much more appealing crop of the first one. The format is a bit tall and narrow, but in some layouts with text it could be an ideal fit.
When I photograph powerful, falling water, I stop the action. When I photograph a quiet stream or cascade, I blur the motion. Everyone has their own preference as to when to stop the action or not and it might be a good idea to develop a style about that that is a good fit for you.
Thanks for the extra input Mike. It certainly makes sense what you are saying. I think at this point I have a bit of tunnel vision. Being new to experimenting with trying to get silky water I am doing it with everything rather than looking at the whole picture. Due to rain being forecast for the next week it could take a bit to get back to the location. I will post the new results and I will keep at it until the brain, vision, and shutter come together :)
