I did not know about the relationship between monitors/cameras etc. Thanks for that.
No worries. If you're going to shoot back-lit then "something has to give" unfortunately - especially if they're dark subjects.
Flashes also introduce their own set of issues to be managed (eg hard light / harsh shadows). It's something I think would be of benefit to you though (and yep, I know all about the weight!)
For the first, you didn't get permission. For the second, it said, "mine! mine!"

Thanks Ramachandran, there are lots in the market so he need not fear competition. But he did not know that. :)
But just to rub it in, he took off a sec or 2 later landed about 10 feet away and swallowed it right there.
