Re: iPhone pics - Please post them here
Hi Antonio,
I like the shadow, it saves this from being 'just another pet snap taken from the usual height and perspective' ;)
The slightly damp pattern on the surface helps too.
Ooops; I nearly forgot to compliment the good composition and exposure.
Cheers,

Hello Dave :)
The background - in case I shoot from a lower angle - was not very nice, so I decided to take the picture this way.
Thank you for commenting :)

You may not know but in October 2010 I am planning a safari for photographers in India and one of my difficulties is to memorize the place we are when travelling abroad.
Yes, I know that a GPS does the job but with an iPhone I could make a picture of Samode Palace for example and remember easily later on, when watching the other pictures shot on location. And the photo has the coordinates embedded.
I like to carry a small notebook with me when I am traveling. Sometimes, a brief bout of free writing will help bring back memories from the trip and will also allow you to list photograph number with the date the photo was taken. Old school yes, but funny little stories make sharing your travel experiences more enjoyable.

I agree with you

I see Yoga not ioga :)
A paper and a pen is always a good option :):)

Thank you Antonio for starting this thread. After using my iPhone for a year now I've got some pretty decent shots with it. I mostly use it when I'm flying simply because I don't want to go through the hassle of taking my dSLR out of my carry on. Here is a shot taken while flying through a heavy cloud cover from Charlotte to New Orleans. The picture was converted to B&W using the Tiffen app for iPhone. http://i43.tinypic.com/29ql43r.jpg

Thank you for posting. :)
May be you could enhance brightness and contrast ...

Thank you for your kind words Antonio..here's one more, this time from Earth and not from the heavens ;)..what caught my attention here is the texture of the clouds with the silhouette of the tree. The sun was quite high up in the sky and I could not frame this any better from the location where I was at..C&C welcome!
The picture was converted to B&W using a plug-in for Bibble.

Nice ! Very nice ! ... :)
Lots of contrast :)
You made me go and have a look at what Bibble is. It looks like Lightroom at a first glance.
I am sure it works fine. :)
Anyway, you did a very nice work on this photo. It looks pretty sharp. :)
I have been very lazy lately and I have done no iPhone pictures at all.
