Hi Mal I agree wholeheartedly. The new camera will not make me a better photographer but will allow to take more successful photographs that are beyond the limits of my previous camera. After 8 years the technology has jumped ahead.

I understand where you are coming from and to a large extent I have to agree with what you have written. That being said, if you continuously run into situations where your camera cannot get the shot you want, an upgrade may be in order.

I am now taking pictures in my smart phone, i am looking at the camera Canon 650D, Can anyone give advice on this camera about buying it.

Hi Vivek...
The 650D is a very nice camera and I think you will be blown away with the quality of its images as compared with those from your cell phone.
Use the Canon supplied software to edit the images and learn to shoot in RAW from the start. That will save you a lot of heartache...
