Thanks Mike for the comments. Yes, #11 is somewhat cropped so can get more of the sun in there. Only issue is the birds will be so much smaller.

Thanks Mark - that is the issue with using Picasa, EXIF is there but they do not display it in links. For #8 it was f9, 1/3200, ISO 640, 300mm. One thing to note - I usually shoot at f5.6 but in previous swan shoots found that a higher f number is needed to get more of it in focus. So when I turned attention to these guys, closed it down to f9 and raised the shutter speed/iso to make sure that everything would be clear and sharp.

Btw, The best way for me to learn is if someone finds something wrong. Problem is when a shot is posted I have already applied everything that has been taught to me here at CiC and I just have no idea what else should/could be fixed. Sometimes something simple like placement can make the world of difference but I did not see it so any comment is always appreciated and looked into.
