Hello Matt, thank you for viewing and commenting. I can see the circular motion you describe. I could crop tighter but I decided to show the ripples in the image. I look at every nature photographers website that I can. I most times find the same thing, a tight crop showing the animal or bird shot with a 500 or 600 mm lens. I try to do something different showing more than just the bird or animal. A tighter crop would not have allowed you to see the circular motion, others I hope would see that or possibly something different.

Hi Joe, I finally got my images of the Mandarin ducks at my local park ready for posting hope they upload ok. It was the first outing with my new Canon D60 and I used a 18 to 135 mm lens. Perhaps no the best but it's all I had available.
