I think it's a good idea for an aircraft thread.I saw this coming into land at Leeds/Bradford Airport and thought it was something different than the usual jet aircraft.

something i done a few months ago. not as interesting as if it was flying but its a little different
Thought I would add to the fun, although these are not nearly as good as the ones already posted.

Mike,
I am envious.
We took our son to Duxford on his 12th birthday when we were travelling in the UK. He loved it and still remembers the day. It was 1998. There was a fellow there trying to coax his Spitfire into running on all 12 cylinders and another one practicing his aerobatics in a Harvard. They were preparing for a show on the next weekend.
I will find the negatives I took on my little Olympus XA and scan some of them in, but they won't be this good.
Graham.
I was lucky enough to be a guest of the Aircraft Restoration Company & Historic Flying Ltd., had lunch in the hanger and a guided tour around all of the restoration projects before the managing director decided to take the Spitfire up for a demonstration run. It was a great day out.
I really do little Aviation photography, but made this image this morning and thought it might fit in this thread....even if just barely. These 20-30 old tails are burried in a park just behind what was once Sand Point Naval Station on Lake Washington here in Seattle.
