It's not a sweetie...it grows in the woods ;)
Hi Andy,
I guess so ;), was it that brand?
Perhaps the font was the give-away.
The reason I suspected it wasn't chocolate was all the light and dark 'bits' embedded in the mix. Can't say I had noticed them before, but of course if you hold it and study it, it melts in your fingers, so best just to pop it in your mouth, I find :D Not that I'm a chocoho-lick or anything ;)
Thanks for posting the follow up image, here, if I get lucky, it will be the clues that gave it away; is it a fungus?
If it is, do post again if you can, as I may not make it online here until tomorrow, at least not from home where my pictures are.
Thanks,
The chocolate was a Yorkie bar made by Nestle but I'm not sure if yu can get them all over the world so chocolate was good enough for me. I was surprised how 'bity' it was too but after further research it would appear that posh chocolate sometimes has even bigger bits in it. It was all in the name of science you know ;)
You were right about the fungus too but I don't know which species so again that's close enough for me. They looked a bit like the ones below but I shot them up close with the main flash above the subject and a second flash below:
