Re: Members - Point us to your website here!
Hi Nancy, and a warm welcome to CiC.
Really enjoyed reading your blog, and hope that you'll post some images soon in one of the forums. There are quite a few bird photographers here, but I think you might have them running scared (or at least asking for tips :)).
Hope you'll be hanging around for a while,
Dave
Re: Members - Point us to your website here!
I have a couple but wesedens.com is my photography site. Mostly it links to my Flickr images using an API. Look forward to any comments or suggestions.

Smugmug is requiring its subscribers to upgrade. I have done so. Its not a new website but a revamped version of my website.

Re: Members - Point us to your website here!
Hi Everyone
I haven't been around CiC for quite a while, being too busy sounds like a feeble excuse but I'm usually busy processing images when sat in front of my computer. The purchase of an iPad - my first, how did I survive without one, means I can now log in to CiC in most places.
You can find my web site at http://chrisbeard-images.com

Re: Members - Point us to your website here!
I'm doing a couple of websites
My learning photography site is www.learningfromthelight.co.uk
It's pretty new and I'm going to set up a portfolio website (www.tftm.co.uk) but I need to figure out the best way to showcase my work using Wordpress/galleries (any tips would be great)
I have a food blog that will host some of my food photography images. (foodfromtheisland.co.uk)
Re: Members - Point us to your website here!
Not a photography site http://www.tagsharks.com/tagging-pro...hoto-galleries but one I work on where I have used the GRAND FlAGallery WordPress Plugin - http://codeasily.com/wordpress-plugins/flag/.
It's also a good idea to make sure you use a responsive wordpress theme so that your site is presented in the best manner when accessed by any of phone / tablet / desktop. If you are not aware of what that means, just keep making your browser narrower and watch what happens to the tagsharks site.

Hello. I was referred to this site today. I was impressed and decided to register. Here is a link to my personal site and photo gallery. I will post an introduction soon. Looking forward to participating in some of the discussions on the forum.

Very impressive website, Christian. I look forward to you being part of the forum.
Re: Members - Point us to your website here!
Thank you Donald for the kind words. Look forward to joining in the discussions. It's winter here. We are just digging out of about 55cm in 3 days. I have two new pieces of glass I want to play with outdoors :-)
My very first Sigmas: a 150-500mm F5-6.3 (used) and a 35mm f1.4 ART (brand new and just received as an early Xmas present). Life is good!
Re: Members - Point us to your website here!
I maintain a blog called birdsnbugs where I document what I've been shooting and events around Punta Gorda FL.
Re: Members - Point us to your website here!
Bitten the bullet and created a website for myself. Please take a look and let me know what you think:

Re: Members - Point us to your website here!
Hello Saorsa, welcome from a newbie. I really liked your account of the heron twins. Very nice. I was also interested by your experience with the N1 V1. I also have one and been experimenting with the FT-1 adapter and several of my Dx and Fx lenses. I find the Dx 18-200mm the best at ergonomics. It is only slightly bigger than the 10-100mm PD I bought with the introductory kit but boy, what a reach 540mm. Combine this with the electronic shutter and you have more keepers than you can hope for. Not tried on a tripod or even a monopod yet, But, I can only imagine....:)
BTW, if you would like to see some images shot exclusively with the V1 and either the 10-30mm or the 10-100mm PD, you can see them here in the first two galleries:

Hey there, two of those sites seem to be Wordpress based which means you have a tremendous number of templates at your disposal. Some are free, some are reasonable' and some are terribly expensive. Which does not necessarily better.
I decided on Elegant Themes (very reasonable and they have a huge number you can try - out of which several are particularly suited to portfolio type sites with customizable blog sections. I use the Envisioned theme on my site. They also have very good support.
You can have look at my site to give you an idea here:

Let me know if you need help.
