You might want to try a careful, multiple offset, varying brush size cloning technique to fill such a void next time. Might also have to lighten the cloned area a little to fake the extra haze with (what should be) greater distance nearer the horizon.

Nice pony shot (and a nice pony) The lady looking out of the shot from the far left might have been improved had she turned 180deg into the shot. But nice light though.

This, as they say, is a cracker! Richness, texture. This is the type of image that appeals to me hugely and what I'm striving for in B&W.

From the archives. Converted using Nik Silver Efx Pro to look like old fast film (ISO 3200), hence the grainy look.

I think the twigs in the foreground(which I wanted in the picture) stole the focus on the building,however it was the brilliant white of the tree bloom that I really wanted.I'm sure that PP would have improved many aspects of this shot,when I get a decent program I'll have a go at it.

Quite a lovely field of images here!!!

I am posting a sepia tones image. I played with the color filter sliders to vary the black and white a bit. Shot using 2 of my Canon580EXIIs on stands and shoot through umbrellas.

Yellowstone River near Pray, Montana. I worked this over in PS to produce a more dramatic contrast and tonal range while still retaining white highlights (not HDR).

My first post in the superb Cambridge in Colour site. These were taken in the last weekend of this summer. These are 2 of only a handful of shots I have ever taken in B&W. Perhaps I will post some other photos sometime in the future if I'll get up the courage.
