I would say it is excellent with a tashe of sharpening .... remember that you can use your selection tools to pick up an area and while that area is selected the sharpening tool will only affect the selected area. In this case the sky looks fine to me but below the sun to wall needs just a bit of sharpening. Thouigh looking at Colin's version I'd suggest an extra bit of sharpening of just the near wall
You also timed the shot well to avoid the usual blob of burnt out area around the sun.... nicely done:)
ok tks guys, Ill work on my sharpening skills
Hi Dawn,
Hey, the tourists disappeared :)
(You do realise they probably cloned you out of their shots too ;) )
Welcome to the CiC forums from ....
lol, my fellow camera club pals, they were too busy shooting one another and missed all the good shots of the sunset
I've written a bit about sharpening in the past - you might find these two threads helpful ...

Hi Colin, tks, I have read those the only thing is I do most of my post processing in LR4, I only ever go into CS5 for the fancy stuff ie cloning or colour popping (is that a rude word in here?) Has anyone put together a tutorial for us LR folks?
